Legend has it that a cultivator who went by “Mr. G” down in Florida was the first to develop this particular strain, though nobody knows for sure. What made B+ special wasn’t just its size – these mushrooms grew bigger than their cousins with beautiful golden-brown caps – but how forgiving they were to grow. Unlike other finicky varieties that needed perfect conditions, B+ mushrooms seemed happy to thrive just about anywhere, which made them a favorite among both researchers and hobbyists.

Store your spore syringe in the refrigerator (not freezer) to maintain viability. Under proper refrigeration, spores remain viable for at least 6 months, and often up to a full year when stored correctly. Always shake the syringe well before use to disperse any clumped spores and ensure a uniform suspension.
